Bug Description

I am using Ubuntu 13.10 with cairo-dock and gnome.
The "others" menu entry is full of everything (21 menu entrys)

Example:
Libre Office, teamviewer, firefox and so on.

On my ppa (matttbe/ppa), I just added a new version of gnome-menus which should fix this bug. You can test it by using these commands:
   sudo add-apt-repository ppa:matttbe/ppa
   sudo apt-get update
   sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

If you don't want to add my ppa (there are (bug-fix versions of) other packages), you can simply download and install these packages:
For 32 bits:

We got gnome-menus 3.10.1 in trusty now, which should have this upstream fix. Please reopen/yell if it's still a problem with that version. Thanks!

Hello Martin,

Yes, this patch was already available in the 3.8.1 version but not in the 3.8.0 version of Ubuntu Saucy.
Is it possible to patch the version of Ubuntu Saucy? ( lp:~matttbe/ubuntu/saucy/gnome-menus/lp1265489 )
