Bug Description

You should host these fonts on launchpad itself rather than relying on Google. You want Chinese users to be able to submit bug reports, right?

I'm surprised that this results in a failure rather than just falling back to one of the other fonts we specify, but self-hosting seems like a good idea anyway.

OK I think I exaggerated the problem greatly - the site is usable in China, I must have had other network problems and the font problem stuck out like a sore thumb. The real problem is that the throbber keeps spinning for ages because the GFW doesn't block the connection entirely, it just prevents the data arriving. This still does look quite bad and self-hosting fonts is definitely the way to go.
