"You've launched an older version" dialog when launching 70.0.1+build1-0ubuntu2 on focal

Bug Description

I just upgraded to focal from eoan, and I'm now getting a "You've launched an older version of Firefox" dialog when I try to launch firefox.

This prevents me from using my existing profile, which is extremely annoying.

Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. It looks to me like the focal version was built before the eoan version, which means firefox (reasonably, but incorrectly) detects a downgrade.
