Bug Description
The md5 algorithm used in wubi (metadl) is far slower than the one in http://
The difference is 1 to 2 orders of magnitude (10sec vs 5-10minutes).
Even if that is certainly non critical, it would almost halve the total installation time (excluding ISO download), providing a far better experience for the users. Hence it should be considered for point release.
