Bug Description

I have a Toshiba A135. The volume with Hardy is not functioning correctly. There is almost no volume from 0%-45%, then it quickly increases and is around full volume at 65%-75% -- but full volume is significantly lower than it was in Gutsy. I've installed alsamixergui and raised the volume for every bar with no luck at getting it anywhere near the volume that it used to get to in Gutsy. Thanks for the hard work

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 alpha? If so, please execute the alsa-info.sh script referenced from the DebuggingSoundProblems Ubuntu wiki page.
