"Disable or replace context menus" JavaScript option only partially effective

Bug Description

Deselecting "Disable or replace context menus" on the list of things JavaScript
is allowed to do (found under Preferences | Web Features | Enable Javascript -
Advanced button) is only partly effective. It prevents sites from disabling the
context menu, but they can still add their own popup. The default context menu
only appears after you close the site's popup.

Hi Kevin,

Do you know if this is still a problem in dapper with Firefox 1.5? I tested it on this page http://popup-toolkit.com/ where I got the default context menu both before and after removing the hovering popup. Is this the sort of page you were talking about? Do you have an example of a page where it fails?

Unfortunately I can't verify that, as I'm still running Breezy and FF 1.0.7. It is still a problem in FF1.5 on that "other" OS.

That's not exactly the behavior I'm talking about. What I mean is, a site can be prevented from disabling the default context menu, but it can still pop up its own annoying "you can't do that" dialog every time you open the context menu. I first noticed this on http://www.lavalife.com, but you'd have to create an account there to see it.
