Bug Description

Hello,
Release of Ubuntu:
I'm on Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10 beta i386 fully updated.

Package:
The binary package is network-manager-gnome 0.7~~svn20081020t000444-0ubuntu1

Expected:
I would like insert a static route trough the 'IPv4 settings tab -> Routes...' of nm-applet's connection edit window, and then seeing that route active on the system.

Instead:
These settings don't have effects. The command 'route -n' doesn't show the inserted route and it doesn't work.
If I re-check, the Routes windows is clean as if I had never inserted anything.

Static route a part, the connection is untouched, so the method is DHCP etc.
Everything else works as expected (default route included).

Thank you, Alessandro

This is related (if not the same) to bug 288575.

I think it isn't the same, because the problem of static routes does not relate to the reboot: it doesn't work either immediately.
