URL paste replaces '+' with whitespace

Bug Description

pasting https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nss/+bug/316452 produced http://is.gd/fPHV in gwibber for me, which has replaced whitespaces (seems to be a missing escape?). Pasting the above url on website works.

I noticed this and modified my patch in https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/314426 to fix this issue a few days ago.
I was going to open a new bug report but it would screw up my diff for the original bug report. I haven't gotten much feedback on that patch, and it would be appreciated.

I should probably get to know bzr if I'm going to keep playing with gwibber :/
