MP diff update message should be shown before scanning

At that point, we don't know that the diff will be updated. I suppose
we could put a message saying the branches are being scanned...

I guess we could assume that the diff will be updated. If the source branch
didn't change, then we can remove the message. No one will notice that we
didn't update the diff.

Also I think we should avoid to use the word scanned on any user visible
pages.
