Docky stops being on top thus hidden by windows

Bug Description

I am finding that Docky will randomly no longer be on top of all windows . To resolve the issue i simply quit and restart it. This happens on both Karmic and now Lucid.

I first noticed it many weeks ago but occurs so infrequently I assumed it to be fixed with previous updates. I can attempt to run it with debug but i currently have no steps to repeat the triggering of this bug.

One other person mentioned this in IRC. What window manager are you using? Compiz?

Fixed (from our end) in rev 1324. We ask to be on top, but ultimately it is up to the window manager to handle doing so. We also set the window type to 'dock' which *should* automatically keep it on top in the window manager. Thus if starting in rev 1324 you see this happen it is your window manager's fault.

As a side note if you use Compiz you can set a window rule to keep the docks on top too. For Compiz at least, that will definitely force it to stay on top.
