For anyone willing to take this, the file to fix this in is in the gnome-user-docs package, gnome-help/C/net-wireless-troubleshooting-hardware-check.page.

I'm having a go at fixing this bug, rebuilding(?) the package with pbuilder now. So far so good.

Hi Joel,

In oneiric this material will be shipped in our ubuntu-docs package. Please could you work on this bzr branch when submitting changes and merge proposals:

https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-doc/ubuntu-docs/oneiric

Sorry for any confusion.

No need to build the package to test your fix, it should be sufficient just to open the page you are working on in yelp or to run the check_validation script over it.

Righteo, I think the linked branch is ok. Fourth or fifth branch along and I think I'm starting to get on track... hopefully :/

Am I right in concluding that, as from Oneiric, ubuntu-docs is the same as gnome-user-docs?

No, in Oneiric we will use gnome-user-docs for something else
(shipping upstream docs for gnome-shell).

This might be better for someone a bit more experienced, since I think I'm doing something wrong. Apparently there's conflicts and a lot changed - but I literally removed one character and added a changelog entry via dch -i. Unless someone can explain what's mucking up, I really can't get my head around the problem and thus how to fix it properly without all the extra errors/conflicts appearing.

As per comment 3, the branch you need to use is the one on the ubuntu-docs project and not on the ubuntu project. It looks like you are proposing the merge on the ubuntu project, which may be why you have the conflicts.

No need to touch the changelog, we will group together various fixes in a single upload later in the cycle.
