Ok, the workaround for me is to restart unity after I've booted.
So boot and autologin. Unity+indicator-multiload+indicator-cpufreq indicators+rsibreak+clipit+dropbx all autolaunch.
HUD doesn't include indicator-messages.
Then I simple do a unity --replace& and it works straight away.
At least I have a work around for now to make this work. Could this bug be re-opened? Does anyone need any log messages for more info?
