I encountered this bug on Ubuntu 10.10 with gwibber version 2.32.0.1-0ubuntu1. I tried many of the fixes listed above. What worked for me was if I resized the window to make it larger *before* starting to add facebook. If and only if I resized the window beforehand, then the "save" button would appear after logging into facebook.
