Comment 18 for bug 329659

I can't test (no idea how to rebuild) but as far as I understand the qtreeview.cpp code, indeed it is not the expected behaviour (I would expect auto-collapsing only for auto-expanded folders and if we go away from them and their subfolders)

So how can we push for the Qt bug to be solved? I don't see how to put comments.

Can't we use something else than qtreeview? Konqueror still has the behavior we were used to (e.g. in the personal folder view in the left navbar). Implementation may be kfiletreeview (which is derived from qtreeview).
