Burhani: Most Ubuntu-specific packages are maintained in Bzr. In this case, it is lp:ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu. If you want to get a change into that branch, you should push your code into a branch named lp:~USERNAME/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/BRANCHNAME, and then use a Launchpad web interface to file a merge proposal.
