Description of the change

I've updated the page based on Pete's feedback. Many thanks to Pete for checking it! If the update is ok, you can merge it in, and put a copy of the page up in a public place (as before), and I can update the bug report, and Pete (hopefully) can check it again?

This seems to me a good start in getting the page checked. Ideally I'd like answers to all my questions (the questions I posted on the email list). The updates probably don't yet count as a fix for the bug in my opinion.
