Move the "Remove Favourite" icon to the bottom of the sidebar. This seems to be a more consistent location for it, rather than in the middle of the other sidebar shortcuts.
Also, fade out everything else in the sidebar except "Remove Favourite" when dragging, as there is only one place you can drag things to. This gives better visual feedback.

Added a cool new animation used when changing categories. It visually shows the selection moving from one category to another.

Simplified and improved the animation of shortcuts (both categories and the sidebar).
The new code is much more robust: the effects look smoother, and it handles edge cases like when animations are interrupted by further mouse or keyboard movement. There is no longer any jerking/snapping when animations are interrupted or replaced.
This revision makes the selection animation for shortcuts equivalent to the selection behaviour for icons, which is good for consistency.

Added a behaviour function that fades text labels between two colours.
This effect behaviour is often needed for highlighting text captions, etc.

It shows a live view of recently accessed documents, which can be opened in their default application.
