Thanks for your local screenshots. It is very rare to get screenshots for the different languages.

However, there is a bit of a problem with the dimensions. For the screenshots from the main entry page, that change upon mouse hover, they all need to be the same size, 250 pixels wide by 200 pixels high.

There are differences in other of your screenshot dimensions, but I don't think it is as important (I have make the English (default) screenshots the same dimensions as what was there before.

Do you want to fix your screenshot dimensions or do you want us to proceed with these?

Yeah... I know they are of slightly different sizes than the originals, but I couldn't get the same size and keep them useful.

I tested locally compiling the docs and then running the translation with yelp and they didn't cover up any other texts.

I think we can proceed with these now, I'll try to take other screenshots and work out the same dimensions.

Just for your information, what I do:
. use VPN from another computer
. set up the screen size to 720X576, the smallest 5:4 screen size available for my test computer.
. Take the screenshots on my main computer, upon which there is a VPN window of a 720X576 screen.
. Use a photo editor to extract the desired screen shot, using a defined box size for the extraction.
. Down sample the image to the desired size, if required. Due to the small screen size used, loss of detail during the re-sampling is minimized (which your shots are pretty good for detail also).

Milo: However, there does seem to be some issues with the HTML version that we publish on help.ubuntu.com. Depending on the browser used, there is some text covered and some lingering partial previous image.

The package version of the help docs is now frozen until a point release update sometime in the future. Gunnar had a very good idea though, that we could just update help.ubuntu.com whenever, and things will get in sync again at that next point release. The timeline is at your discretion.

I have just pushed updates to help.ubuntu.com. In about 21 hours, more or less, you should be able to see for yourself at: https://help.ubuntu.com/16.04/ubuntu-help/index.html (Until the new version is automatically published in about 21 hours, you will see only U.S. English at that link.)

Good point, I didn't think of testing it with a browser.
I managed to re-take all of the intro screenshots in 250x200, they should be all correct now.
