This branch factors out the DontZap class into it's own module and has the cli interface import that. This allows for other interfaces to be first-class clients instead of calling the cli interface from a subshell.

I have applied part of your changes and customised them a bit (see revision 9 of trunk). I asked Martin Pitt to review the changes and to upload the package. After this you'll be able to use my DontZap class as you wanted.
