AUTOMATED FUNCTIONAL AND SYSTEM TESTING

Systers-mailman is a branch which is a continuously evolving web-based application running numerous mailing lists. The new feature changes introduced by Systers in Mailman require rigorous testing before being moved to the production environment.

Hence automated testing is an alternative to manual testing which would greatly improve the efficiency of testing in terms of the repeatability of the functional and regression tests and the speed at which the tests can be executed. Selenium, an open source test automation tool for web application testing, has been used to automate this functional testing process.

This branch contains python scripts for executing test cases, integrated function tests using test suite, and complete system testing in one go using the "systemregr_test_wrapr_aft.py" script.
