The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding software-properties. This problem was most recently seen with package version 0.98.6, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/7f35e34c316c48e756a0d4a38dd302dbcd8ebfae contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

In disco and focal, I can reliably reproduce by running software-properties-gtk in a terminal, then focusing back the terminal window and pressing Ctrl+C to interrupt the program.

  * softwareproperties/gtk/SimpleGtkbuilderApp.py: Fix a typo in the
    keyboard interrupt handling code (LP: #1860143).
  * Updates tab:
    - replace checkboxes with a combobox (LP: #887079)
    - add a label for snap package updates frequency
    - center the contents of the tab and make padding/spacing more consistent
