Bug Description
People need to learn what means "Check of drives" (sorry for my English, I speak Italian) if they are not English. In the italian version of ubuntu, there is not a translation of this phrase and not an explanation of this function. A simply user that comes from windows or mac and see "Check of drives" for the first time (and maybe the other), he panic because this process occurs only sometimes when the computer is starting and the user does not understand what is happening.
I suggest to translate "Check of drives" in other language and to add a very simply and short documentation of what is happening when there is a "Check of drives".
Sorry for my English!

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. Unfortunately a paper cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
This definitely needs translations, and affects many non-English users but does not affect the majority of average users, Hence not a papercut.
A paper cut is a minor usability annoyance that an average user would encounter on his/her first day of using a new installation of Ubuntu 9.10.
For further info about papercuts criteria , pls read > https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/PaperCut
Don't worry though, This bug has been marked as "invalid" ONLY in the papercuts project. The bug is still valid in other projects.
