Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

http://doc.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/internet/C/connecting-vpn.html

This section ends with "Click Add.". Ok, then what? Am I done? No, of course there are still a bunch of options and information needed to actually create a connection - these should be documented too.

I have three screenshots I took from a previous VPN install. But now with Karmic only the first image is anything like the current VPN sections in the network manager. Arrgh!

OK, I read the wrong forum post on how to do this. It turned out I need the PPTP rather than the OpenVPN.

Alex, that patch looks good. The only suggestion I have is to change the "tip" about using a configuration file into a separate section. following the other 3. It currently looks awkward when viewed in yelp with the tip appearing at the top and the other sections having links below. Thanks for your work!

I have added a new patch that moves the tip for adding a VPN from a config file to a separate section.

Thanks, Alex, that looks great! I just moved the configuration file section to the bottom and committed it to the Lucid dev branch, rev. 477. Cheers.
